
#Apps will not open windows 8.1 windows

I've tried to reset the app cache, but when I run 'wsreset.exe' When I click on this, or try to get to the app in any other way, it opens for a split-second and then minimizes itself again. On the Taskbar, they are shown as open,īut sometimes do not even have an image, and just take up an empty space. When I click these apps, they open up as if they were loading for a split-second, and then minimize themselves.

Now this isn't the main issue, but this does however show which apps have the problem. Examples: Windows Mail has changed to '' and others haveĬhanged the same way. When I open the Start menu, I can see that some of the apps have lost their images and have had their names changed. The Windows Apps that come pre-installed, nor the Windows Store.

A few weeks ago, without changing anything on my laptop that was out of the ordinary, I suddenly could not use about half of I've seen some similar questions like the one I'm about to pose, but sadly none of them have had any solutions that worked for me.
